SEA wanted to trade a haul and I almost traded 1(3) away for the 1st and 2nd from ATL but saw SEA took Carter. So I wasn't moving from there.

I love the volume and adding to the defense but I’d love to see one or two of those earlier picks (top 4 rounds) go to OL.

Normally I would too but I went into the Sim assuming I spent heavy on the OL. That had me skip a few guys.

Yeah, I think any run of these sims looking for “realism” has to factor in that stuff. I’ve been running them assuming we sign a C most of the time, and really, until FA where we know what major needs get filled here and other places they’re only gonna be reasonably accurate for the first handful of picks or so. The top guys are the top guys for the most part but pretty much everything else is very much subject to significant change.

With that said, we’re 3-12 and cheering for losses at this point, and FA is still two and a half months away. Gotta fill the time somehow!

realism? you mean seattle isn't trading their 2023 1st, 2nd, and 4th, plus a 2024 1st for our 2023 1st?

Hey hey hey...

I didn't get any future picks. Lol

Aside from To'o To'o I love it

Thanks! Honestly I'm kinda torn on him too.

But if Morrow can look competent half the time with the DL we have, then a better DL should give HTT a good chance to develop. Him, Campbell and Sanborn at least sets the precedent for a smart professional group that can be coached up. Then we keep throwing money in the trenches.

In reality I probably would move everyone from Hyatt to Jarrett up a spot and draft someone who is a return specialist for my last pick.

It's why I love the butterfly effect of the draft...Carolina made their decision for them when they took Jaycee Horn over Patrick Surtain because according to the board Fields was higher than Horn but just behind Surtain so it took two QB needy teams making very specific picks to get Fields to fall...and there are probably another 100 small moves here and there we will never know about but it all comes together...

Let's hope the same can be said of the Texans in their last few games to move us up and from there everything is on the table.

Then they traded a ton for Wilson, signed him and cycled through another HC in less than a year.

Just a brutal scenario for them that isn't finished yet.

Patrick Star making fun of them in real time on Christmas.   Does it get any lower?  Also weird that this is like the 4th mention of Patrick on our sub forum in a few weeks.

Wonder what Davante Adams is thinking right now? 🤔

Wonder if he is thinking he really did enjoy working under Luke Getsy & for the #9 overall pick with a few other bits thrown in could he reunite with him in Chicago to be a true #1 for an ascending young QB in Fields while also sticking it to the Packers who wouldn’t pay him 🤔

A man can wonder…and probably dream but you never know 😂

Adams is great, but 31 and is contract is only good for 2 years in any event before you have to dump him and eat cap.

Not sure if Poles wants that.  Or if Adams would want to play in Chicago weather after being in Vegas.

If they are trading for a prospect probably thinking Quinnen Williams in his prime with a 3 or 4 year extension to boot.

Trading or cutting Adams post June 1st only costs $7.85 million in every year of his contact...plus he only turned 30 on Christmas Eve so you are getting him basically all next year at 30 years old...given his skill set he could still be a high volume pass catcher for another 5 years which create a ton of options elsewhere...

I agree Williams would be awesome but the Jets would be idiotic to trade him to move up when they have Mike White who at the very least buys you time to find that franchise guy.
