Interestingly, I believe Fields actually did very well on the S2.

He looks like Mitch Trubisky when the rush comes. His eyes go down and he immediately looks for a running lane. Those dudes don't last long in the NFL.

WHy does Bukowski link to WTH he's talking about??

I’m assuming it’s a pay wall because Matt Miller is now at ESPN. So he recently posted a draft rumor post of what he is hearing for all 32 teams.

Matt did this all the time when he was on his own and moon lighting for bleacher report.

So I imagine Peter read that article/post. And that GB’s rumor is JSN has a lot of talk around him to GB.

I am not fond of the guy but always enjoy reading these. Besides the pay wall

Not one scout spoke with conviction about any wide receiver assuming the role of a true No. 1 “out of the can,” as one AFC exec put it.

“None of them would have cracked the top group from last year,” another AFC personnel chief said. “The top four from last year were Drake London, Garrett Wilson, Chris Olave and Jameson Williams. Christian Watson, in this group, would have been at the top probably. Watson is better than (Quentin) Johnston.”

He's probably not even going to be there at #15, but maybe this has more to do with the Packers really liking the guy and seriously considering spending a #1 on a WR .. something they have not done in over 20 years.

I agree. With Bahk's gimpy knee and age, and with Nijman becoming an unrestricted FA next year, the T position is at critical. I'll be looking for the Packers to pick up one of the top Ts at 15. Paris Johnson is my fav, but I'd settle for Jones or Wright.

Maybe it's just prospect fatigue or whatever, but I'm beginning to feel this way too. Although I do think he's the only receiver that will go in the first

A week ago, the over/under on total number of WR's in the first round was 4.5, they have lower it to 3.5. Still, plenty of room from 1 WR in the first round for you to cash.

He's just flat out not worth that pick IMO

I think GB only sees a very few worth it, to be honest. Based on visits they are doing the work to trade down.

So I would imagine right now, GB trades down… maybe picking up an extra 3rd and most likely selecting a TE or WR in the 20s

My ideal scenario is to trade down, pick up a 3rd, then trade 2 thirds to get into the bottom of the second to avoid the cursed round.

My ideal scenario is to trade down and pick up a 2024 1st (like Jaire) and get a stud offensive player after the trade down. Then land another 2024 1st from the Jets. So we get a stud offensive player this year in the first, two 2nd rounders AND a total of 3 first round picks in 2024.

curious to what you and others would need from JSN over the first 4 years of his career to make the pick worth it at 15?

would any of the below be enough?

  • 1 year of 1200 yards (around 70/game) // 90 rec // 9 TD's
  • 2 years of over 1000 yards //  75 rec // 7 TD's
  • 3 years of over 800 yards //  60 rec // 5 TD's
