That team scored more runs than like 4 other playoff teams, and was less than 40 from the division leaders. Replacing Sam Howard/Taylor Hearn with 30 starts of deGrom is easily a fifteen win improvement. Of course, healthy deGrom is a myth, but thats another conversation all together. Texas is really well positioned to make a trade for another pitcher. Pablo Lopez, Shane Bieber, Brandon Woodruff .... they can maks that happen pretty easily.
