The reason they lost (outside of the defense) is that they took the ball out of his hands at the goal line. This should have been a one score game, on the road, against a hot team. No idea how different it is if the Vikings score there, but it is different. It was a bad play call.

JDBrocks
The coverage was bad, but Detroit's offense is SO GOOD. This is awesome even though I wish it was against a different team.

Would imagine the Lions OC will be a highly sought after head coach candidate.

I’d love to see an offensive mind like Johnson in Los Angeles with Justin Herbert.

How much is Johnson saving Campbells job or is it the other way around.

I don’t think either one is saving one or the other’s job. Johnson is a great Xs and Os guy, which is exactly what you want in a coordinator. While Campbell is a fantastic leader and motivator, which is exactly what you want in a head coach. It’s only a matter of time until Johnson is going to get his shot at being a head coach, and only time will tell if he’ll succeed at it. But losing Johnson isn’t going to impact Campbell’s ability to lead and motivate. If he can identify another Xs and Os guy to be his OC, he’ll be just fine.
Captain Relax
Here's another sentence I thought I would never write: the Lions are better with Goff than Stafford. Granted, Detroit currently has a better offense overall than any Stafford played with. But Goff seems to be playing with poise and control. His career has turned a corner. Good for him.
