BB is a hard core old school coach who refuses to change with the game. Do you think laid back Rodgers who does not know if he wants to play from year to year will work out. The 49ers are out too. They signed Sam Darnold so he will start if they need him too. If they did not sign Sam I would say yes it could happen. I think GB told them NO they are not trading Rodgers to you. Then you add you will have to wait a year or 2 to get any draft capital and when you do it will be all bottom round picks becasue Rodgers would take the 49ers deep. The deal will get done. Sure, as long as you're also willing to give him a contract similar to Deshaun Watson and be stuck with him in 3 years when the legs go out.
