It's amusing at this point. Can't read what you don't want to comprehend I guess.... Josh had Mac Jones looking like the top rookie QB last season. They completely dropped off without him. Offense hasn't performed as hoped, but what do you expect with a bad Oline and a QB who has struggled in the red zone his entire career. JMD, like Gruden hasn't cracked the code on Carr and how to get him to play consistent football. It's clear after 9 years, that's not who he is. Again, pressure made him fold this week. Happy feet, holding onto the ball, tap dancing. Same as it ever was.

Good thing Carr dropped a couple dimes just outside the RedZone for TDs though.

NCOUGHMAN
Never thought our home games would be like an away game. We lost home field advantage yesterday and that was sad. Crowd was chanting “defense” for the pats when we’re on offense. Never in my life have I ever seen that happen in a home game

They completely dropped off because Matt Patricia is their OC. Dude, I don't trust your eye for offense whatsoever and I'm willing to say you could call an offense better than he ever could. Yes, the OL is bad. This wasn't helped by Josh's dumb moves early to play musical chairs with them. I would even say his scheme hasn't helped as it's nearly the end of the season and guys are still clearly running wrong routes. But please keep telling us how much of a genius he is and how Graham's respect level is going to translate into good play and fewer points allowed. Josh and Graham got out coached by the Pats yesterday and needed one of the 4 or 5 dumbest plays in the history of organized football to eek out a win- as figured. Tillery and the two rookies are very weak at the point of attack. Chandler Jones looked fast on that crazy interception play, starting to earn his money now 😳😂 Couldn’t agree more on Billings, he’s a big miss atm. Seemed like Chandler Jones was running with a piano on his back 😂 looked so slow. Edited December 19, 2022 by Dessie

Our Oline was porous to say the least and I hold that against McDaniels for not shoring it up in the off season. And you have to hand it to NE for protecting their QB. Did Jones get sacked? I never had a doubt we'd lose home field advantage. Only way we don't is if were in the playoffs consistently every year and even then casinos will package deals to outside fans and they will happily pay big bucks to do a long weekend in Vegas. As far as missing 'the black hole' I agree and miss the Oakland name. It's why I call them the Raiders. Did the same thing when they moved to LA. Oakland is their home, always has been and always will be but they moved out and got some new digs but the Oakland Raiders is where they come from and what was so tough, gritty and fun to watch. The game has changed so we must adapt but at least gambling, hookers and blow is better than the wine and cheese 9ers. 😃

I did not think they did a good job of protecting him unless you count running the ball down our throats so they did not have to rely on the pass. The run blocking for NE was really good and the RBs run hard. Offense did not have a good game and only had two good drives. Carr was harassed and NE got quick pressure. There were multiple plays however that if Carr sets his feet to make the throw with pressure coming it is an easy completion. Defense played well overall with a two play brain fart at the end of the game. NE just had the brain fart to end it. What bothered me the most was watching the DBs not wanting to tackle. The one game this year where Abram could have made a difference.
