But the important question, what's Cox's RAS score?

Incomplete testing, since he's persona non grata at Florida and Georgia and probably didn't do the same sort of "training for the combine" stuff that the guys who expect to be drafted in the first two days do.

His 40 time looks plenty good to play edge, but I'm worried he has more loose screws than a hardware store in an earthquake.

You would hope it's mostly "dumb kid with an attitude" stuff, particularly given that a lot of college coaches are would-be tyrants.  But he does need a fair bit of work before he'd be a good NFL player, and you wonder if he's going to put in the work.  Classic UDFA type, since the rest is on him as it costs the Packers very little to cut him loose and never look back.

Very true, but usually these guys melt down and leave, or are asked to leave.

So there's no way we're doing preseason with just three quarterbacks, right?

They could add a 4th camp arm, but in terms of preseason "games" expect it to be Love, Clifford and Etling for two reasons: (1) unlike prior years, our starter is going to play a fair amount in the preseason, and (2) they'll want to get a very deep look at Clifford and Etling in those games in order to decide whether a late-camp veteran addition is necessary for the regular season.

Could be a nice change of pace rusher off the edge for us. We have enough power rushers on the edge. Hope he pushes guys like Hamilton and Garvin off the roster.

Damn I love that dude.  Explosive.  Nice array of moves and looks quick as hell.  Have to dig into this guy.  We need nasty.

They will go Clifford as the back up. He will literally be Matt Flynn in this scenario.

they need cheap.

plus if Love gets hurt like a Trey Lance…. They can tank for Williams, maye or the kid from Washington (will he come out in 2024?)

it’s really the perfect way to play this.
