43M
Was going to do Steelers, but ours would be pretty ugly since we've never been super active in free agency and the vast majority of our talent has been players we originally drafted.

If we could take his Atlanta or Philly years, sure....but thats not how this works. Id take Charlie Batch over Vick. Certainly not ideal for a starter, but definitely better than Vick. At WR, Mathis did nothing for us. Robinson hasn't either. Cotch is a good one. As sad as it is, Cedric Wilson and even DHB would be on our list. TE...Probably Vance McDonald or Ebron. RB add DeAngelo Williams as a complimentary back after Bettis. DL Ogunjobi and Alualu with KVO. ILB Arthur Moats or Keyaron Fox next to Farrior. The rest would be mediocre backups starting. Im probably forgetting someone though. Told ya it would be pretty ugly.

I was going to say you could do a lot better than the Steelers version of Mike Vick at QB lol These draft and develop teams are tough though. Some utilize trades/FA like crazy (Jaguars/Rams) while others are strictly draft driven (Steelers/Packers).

Mr Bad Example
On 5/29/2023 at 3:02 PM, Deps said: 3. If you want to know how much the Packers have been a draft and develop team at receiver and O-line, look at this list. The left tackle was an emergency fill-in. The defensive linemen I left off (Peppers, the Smiths, Gilbert Brown, Ryan Pickett) are better than the o-line starters RB - Ahman Green WR - Carroll Dale, John Jefferson, Allen Lazard (Desmond Howard as a returner) RB too - I was thinking about this and every decent GB RB (Green excepted, and I'd sort of forgotten about him) was more or less homegrown - Hinkle, Taylor, Brockington, Levens, Bennett, Lacy, Jones....if you're trying to do a 2 player backfield I think Ryan Grant might be the other guy. WR though - GB has had 3 WRs retire as the NFL's all-time leader in one thing or other; listing 3 starters means you're leaving either Hutson, Howton, Lofton, or Sharpe off (most people would leave off Howton, he has kind of gotten lost to the winds of history), to say nothing of Nelson and Adams. Anyway: QB - Favre, Dickey RB - Green, Ryan Grant WR - John Jefferson (no idea why he wasn't better in GB), Andre Rison, Perry Kemp (if we can count the USFL) TE - Keith Jackson T - Tootie Robbins, ????...oh, Alan Veingrad G - Harry Galbreath, Keith Uecker C - Frank Winters DE - Reggie, Willie Davis DT - Gilbert Brown, Santana Dotson LB - Julius Peppers, Ted Hendricks (they're both OLBs but I'm pretty sure they'd do just fine sliding inside) DB - Woodson, Dave Brown, Al Harris S - Adrian Amos, Eugene Robinson Edited June 2, 2023 by Mr Bad Example
