biggio7
Does anyone else get tired of saying 'Good morning' all the time? Or when you get asked, 'How are you?' And you say, 'Good'. I'm looking for different ways to say good morning, different phrases, etc. Did responses than just, 'Good' I teach 5th grade and it's the same thing each time with people I work with and students. I just need some ideas of different things to say.

Ty21
You really think your good morning thread is gonna get many hits after you stole the chance to use the Gandalf quote for yourself.
ramssuperbowl99
You have 3 options: If you're anywhere from fine to over the moon, "good". If you're anywhere from actively suicidal to fine, "fine". If you're actively suicidal, "living the dream".
MWil23
“If I was any better, I’d be you.” It’s a go to of mine, usually a tongue in cheek “I am mediocre” salutation that makes the other person feel good about themselves.

Or “hey” if they haven’t earned the howdy. ”WHATS HAPPNIN?!” then cutting them off with “SOUNDS SICK BRO” as they start to answer is generally my go to. Usually only takes a couple times before they stop greeting me.

But don’t look at them or even acknowledge you know they’re there until you’re right up on them.
