AOC may or may not be a gem but JMD is coaching for his life right now and he needs a spark to breathe life into this team. AOC unlike Jimmy also has the arm strength to push the ball down the field and make throws outside the numbers. It didn’t really make sense when some people were using the logic that McD won’t start AOC because he is trying to save his job… like starting the rookie probably buys you more time because there is always the fall back if he doesn’t look good that he’s a rookie and needs more time in the system and then if he does look good credit your development of him… 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But I'm more looking to see if the moment is too big. Or if he is able to play a reasonable game given the circumstances. How he commands the offense. Etc. Best decision Josh could make here. Hoyer won't be around soon and we aren't a playoff team.
