sdrawkcab321
Not sure why the Vikings would even bother to make that trade. The only reason Dobbs was able to step right in with Arizona is because their OC came from the browns last year and ran similar plays. Now he has to learn an entire new playbook which will take weeks at that point they will be long out of any contention. They should have just signed someone. He won't be the starter Edited October 31, 2023 by SkolMasterMN

They have quality, older veterans in Jordan Poyer, Micah Hyde, and Von Miller. I don't think they should mess around and waste another year of those players or Josh Allens prime. I love Brandon Beane but he needs to be much more aggressive around the trade dealine similar to when the Rams won it or how aggressive the Eagles always are. If teams are willing to rent Johnson and then collect the possible 3rd round comp then they should give up a 3rd round pick. The Steelers would have to try to sign him otherwise it does not make sense.

Also- long out of any attention is crazy lol. Easy schedule and the NFC is weak. We are literally in the 7th seed spot right now

No one is looking at the Vikings as a real contender lol.

I would assume that if he gets moved, it involves a second + some sort of day three pick

I read he has a child that lives on the west coast in Cali and would like to be in that area. Couldn't be further away from each other, San Francisco and Buffalo lol. Why lose a 6th round pick for someone who isn’t going to make a difference at all.

Kevin O'Connell is from the McVay tree. Both guys from the overall Mike Shanahan tree. The playbooks won't be that different.
