Both teams are coming off a bye and victory. Eagles on a 3 game win streak, Chiefs winning 7 of the last 8 straight. Whether the pundits want to admit it or not, crown others in weekly rankings, the two best teams from each Conferences still hasn't changed!!! Chiefs Normally they go as Mahomes goes. We are so accustomed to the best QB in the NFL just running rough shot over teams that no one cares about their defense. Well, that IS NOT the 2023 Chiefs!! Thier Defense is Legit, #2 overall in the NFL and top 5 in most defensive categories. In other words, they have actually carried the Chiefs thus far not just Mahomes. Mahomes and Hurts have very similar numbers, both QB's have had their issues with TO's but are both responsible for 22TD thru 9 games. If Pat is able to sit back there and pick this secondary apart, it will be a long night in KC!! Eagles need to hit, hurry, sack and CONTAIN Mahomes to have any chance at a victory. If not, we will lose! The Eagles OL will need to protect Jalen and open up running lanes against that DL/front 7. Eagles Offensively it really comes down to TO's!! When we don't turn it over at an obscene rate, We typically win. We should be getting Cam Jurgens back at RG which would be a welcome site given the RG play since put on IR. However, we lost Dallas Goedert which not only takes away Jalen's safety valve but a key cog to our running game. I think this WILL have a major impact moving forward. For Hurts and Swift/Gainwell on the ground. Maybe we get more Smitty, maybe Julio can get more involved? Guess we'll find out? Defensively we get Bradley Roby back off IR, hopefully he can improve on what has by far been our biggest weakness, SCB. Just about every QB and team we've faced has abused this defense at will over the middle since Avonte Maddox was lost for the season. Now injuries across the board at Safety/CB absolutely has affected this secondary but this PARTICULAR group (our penciled in Starters the remaining of the season if healthy) will be playing together for the first time all season. The Eagles will need this specific group of DB's to improve on the past 9 games or the next few weeks facing Pat, Josh, Dak and even Purdy could get ugly real quick. Our DL vs their OL and vice versa will dictate the outcome for victory. Whichever team imposes their will the best, Wins!! Here's to a INJURY FREE Game for both sides, let the fun begin! GO!! That DL needs to be in mahomes face all game long and they need to take kelce out of the game. Make somebody else beat them. Hopefully this will be byards best game as an eagle, because it’s needed. If any player can match up with him it's Bradberry. No reason not to put him in the Slot, on Kelce if earlier in the season you as a DC were stupid enough to believe him as a SCB on a WR, was a good idea?? Despite what haters want to believe becuase he's closer to 30, then 20! Last year Gannon had JB playing on one side of the field mostly in zone like an All Pro. Richard Sherman style. Desai on a island, mostly man, switching sides, moving inside traveling like Revis. Which he CLEARLY is not. My hope is, that was all because of the injuries throughout the secondary, that isn't JB's strength. Deseai hasn't done him any favor but playing like crap is on him. Pointing out his age is not being a hater, is a fact, specially at CBs.
