The Colts franchise literally snuck out of town in the middle of the night, taking not just the team but the name, colors, and history too. By comparison, your team was deactivated for 3 years while you built a new stadium. You can loathe the Ravens, but imagine how much worse it would be if you watched Baltimore selling Otto Graham jerseys or memorializing the passing of Jim Brown. It is a damn shame that that happened to the Colts. You are right that the Browns reconstituted, but if it was up to Art Modell, he'd have done the same thing with regards to the team's history that Irsay did to you. Pretty sure that you think the same way that those of us in N. Ohio think. If Irsay was on fire, you wouldn't pi$$ on him to put out the flames. We feel the same way about Modell. Guy did a great deal to grow the NFL with television, in many ways revolutionizing the game, and it might have been HOF worthy (certainly debatable), but he'd never get a modicum of support here.
