He made a lot of the same moves I have. The center from Dallas, Willie Gay and Onwenu. I'm waiting to post it until I see a HC. I think that will make a big difference in who we peruse in FA and draft. Callahan might lean toward drafting a WR in the 1st. I saw a comment where where he said an offense needs playmakers on the edges in today's NFL. Where someone like Glenn will follow Campbell's path and likely go O-Line heavy in the draft. If you'd mocked Kamal Hadden to us (or any team) last offseason, I'd have laughed you off. But after the year he had post-UF game.... I'm down. I wonder if Callahan will be in Higgins' ear the whole offseason in the hopes he's not franchised. That would change some money moves. If you hire Bill Callahan as OL coach, keep Hopkins, sign Onwenu, sign a Higgins or Mike Evans (who very possibly hits FA if the Bucs have to tag Baker) and get one of the top two tackles at 7, you suddenly have a young offensive coach and a young QB surrounded by a really good amount of offensive talent. Not to mention Kyle Phillips will probably see the field now since we (hopefully) won't care how well our receivers block. lol Not encouraging anyone to jump the gun or anything, but there's a lot of room for us to maybe be sorta good next year?
