Another terrible pass by Mullens.  He may not pass 400 yards in this game.

Guys it’s the defense that should take these losses the last 5 games. We’ve given up a staggering amount of yards and points and that isn’t Mullens fault. Especially when we’re forced to always throw the ball because we’re behind.

I agree. The defense is not in a good spot right now. Need a complete overhaul in the CB room to start. Doesn’t help having all of these injuries.

And turnovers.

True, but that has no bearing on my wish for a more consistent and less dangerous backup for The Vikings, which can be another young QB with future starting capability.

Sean Mannion to the rescue!

It's just as well that The Vikings lost, as they were eliminated by The Saints win even before this game was over.  Now it looks like we'll have the 10th or 11th choice in The Draft.  So, we should be close enough to make a move up to try to get Daniels or, at least, Penix.  And the cost of getting their will be within The Vikings' ability to compete vs. other bidders, and also a draft position high enough to which the trade partner with the sought-after slot will be willing to move back (unlike we had in the last 2 seasons).

Was Reynolds close to a catch bonus?

Yes. He needed so many yards for $250,000. He got it at the end. Only reason we didn’t kneel.

Good game ladies & gents. Let’s compete for the division again next season.
