Showers and some wind projected for the game on Saturday night. Love has a stronger arm and played in Nevada so he has an advantage there but Purdy played in his fair share of games with similar conditions at Iowa State.

The Niners will need to lean in to the run game more than they have this season early in the games and play off that. If the Packers go with 5 DL, then obviously the passing game needs to be effective and efficient.

The Packers defense was trash for much of the season but have played MUCH better the past three weeks and are peaking at the right time along with the offense. Dangerous opponent.

TBF though the last true bad weather game Love played was against the Giants and its really the only game where he looked like early season Love. He did pick it up in the 2nd half but can't let that happen in this game.

We did play the Packers at their place in 2021 where all the conditions favored Rodgers and the Packers. And then.....................

our defense even held you to 3 points

I mean for most QBs the worse the weather, the worse they will play. But some just manage it better than others. Even the light showers and wind shouldn't make too much of an impact. Early on you may see some misses by both QBs but after that it should be back to normal.

Once again all the pressure is on the Niners and no pressure is on the Packers. This is a legacy game for Kyle. If the Niners cant do it this season then WHEN? And the thing is if Purdy looks OK or meh its not like the Niners will move off of him. They will bring him back next season and the season after that just like they did Jimmy G hoping he will eventually get them over the hump. And if he never does then it will be another handful of years with a talented roster but a QB who isnt that guy.

So yeah the Niners have to win this game and I think they do. If Love looks great and outplays Purdy to win then that will say alot about the mismatch at QB. One is a 1st round pick for a reason and the other is a 7th round pick for a reason. There is a reason why every QB in this round is a 1st round pick EXCEPT for Purdy. And in Purdy case he has the perfect roster around him with the perfect offensive minded coach and system. No excuses for the Niners. I expect them to win and Im definitely going to be looking at Purdy to see how he does in these playoffs.

Rodgers is a no-risk QB which is one of the reasons he only had one Super Bowl. You can’t be taking zero risks in the playoffs. Jordan Love will definitely be taking risks…

Love has giant huge hands, too. One would think that would be advantageous in weather
