This championship Sunday was a kick in the balls for a lot of viewers. But the 49ers are a great team (as is Kansas City), and the 49ers are a very likeable team (unlike Kansas City), and I'll be rooting for them hard.

Love how they built their squad and Shanahan is the undisputed best coach in the NFL right now.

By far the worst call by Campbell (or my future guy Ben Johnson, not sure) was the choice to run the ball on 3rd and goal, and to then burn the timeout.

That ended the game, right there. Just throw the ball on 3rd down, kick the FG if you fail, and most importantly keep your 3 timeouts intact so you can get the ball back if you stuff them. Burning that timeout forced them into the hopeless onside kick. Inexcusably bad decision.

As bad as that was, not taking the free points /FG's and getting stopped on 4th downs multiple times were even more egregious.

That cost them the game. Dan Campbell cist them the game.

They will take a step back once they lose Ben Johnson in the next couple days. Campbell’s culture is nice, but Johnson’s offense is what brought them here

Feel bad for Goff, get a coach who resurrected his career and he drips

Those aggressive calls are the only reason they are here

Not only, but they have been massive in other games

I just don't buy this. The best coaches adapt based on the situation, and are unafraid to make decisions that are unpopular with the players.

Damn. Hell of a championship game comeback. My allegiance was tested for sure. I hate losing in NFC title games more than even the Super Bowl.

Hard to imagine the 49ers D holding up against Mahomes, but another chance is another chance.

Props to the Lions. Hell of a season. Honestly surprised they didn't win the game with the first half leverage they had.

Always get a kick outta how the game just got over and the tshirts are already on the market lol

Looks like the Lions are going to the bowl in Africa (or wherever they send the other shirts) .

Congrats to the 9ers on the great game/ comeback! And congrats to the Lions on a great season 💪
