If I'm going to watch football on a Wednesday there had better be a MAC team involved.

It doesn't matter what day the NFL plays, you like others will still tune in and watch. The NFL knows this.

Unless of course you don't have DVR and are afraid you might miss ...what Survivor? Amazing Race? 👌

I have DVR so I'll still watch Chicago Fire/PD another day.🍺

Who cares the NBA sucks

Shut up and dribble...lol

Well this will be hard to avoid as too much stuff is closed on Christmas and it's usually cold outside. Time to hit the slopes I guess. 😎

OK Boomer.

It was obvious they are chasing the dollars and the revenue, wonder which teams get shafted with a Wednesday game. Gotta imagine it'll be teams coming off a bye or Thursday the previous week.

Boomers got a much better NBA product than today’s game, so no.

Every conceivable metric ever created including viewership in the 80s through early 2000s

lol. There were like 3 channels then. Viewership of every program was higher than now. What a bizarre comparison to make.

You aren’t tricking me into debating this or the viewership decline in the NBA Finals, I don’t care. The NBA blows.

I could be wrong but don't you live in Ohio? Very bizarre...2016 was one of the most watched finals ever.

Jordan had ratings higher in the 90s.

It's always been a star driven league, and ratings have been fine. 2020 was low because of the bubble and it not feeling like "normal" basketball, coupled with LeBron and the super team Warriors not being in the finals anymore.

NBA is gonna be livid.

Also playing on a Wednesday is just... how do you make that logistically unless both teams previously played the previous week on a Thursday?

Possibly the “scattered Saturdays” will play a part here
