How Are Those Rookies Doing?

Packers Report Card through one quarter of the season (game 17 doesn't count)

It has been a slow start for this class.  And you'd expect more from 11 picks.  We also have to account for our awful kicker also being a rookie.  I think the best grade we can give the Packers rookies at this point is a D, and that is mostly due to Javon Bullard.

The "stars" of our draft so far have been:

2nd round LB Edgerrin Cooper - He is being rotated in at LB.  He still needs some refinement, but he is fast, fast fast. His playing time may also be a bit limited by some minor injuries that kept him out of part of camp and preseason, but haven't yet cost him a game.  As the season wears on, I would expect him to get increased playing time.

2nd round S Javon Bullard - Star of the class for us, so far.  He has started all 4 games and plays just about every snap on defense.  Also plays about half of special teams snaps.  He looks the part of a starting safety so far.

4th round S Evan Williams - has been playing about 20 snaps per game at safety in different packages, and about half of the special teams snaps.  If Bullard is our star, Williams is our steal.

We have gotten next to no play from:  Ty'ron Hopper, Jacob Monk, Kitan Oladapo or Travis Glover.  Kalen King is on the practice squad.  Michael Pratt was cut after preseason.  First round pick Jordan Morgan has been mostly injured, but played about 20 snaps at guard against the Eagles and Colts.  Third rounder Marshawn Lloyd is on IR, and has been hurt pretty much the entire time with the team.

Kingsley Suamataia - Benched in favor of 2023 pick Wanya Morris. Still in the mix.
Jared Wiley - Looking good. The offense loaded up on TE bringing on Jodie Forston, an old PS regular.
Jaden Hicks - This guy is a star of situations. How long before he sees regular snaps
