Wasn't this pretty much a given? The alternatives are Stidham and Zach Wilson.

Hes being listed as the third string on the depth chart. Stidham is the starter…for now. Could just be a weird Sean Payton rookie thing.

minutemancl
Giants rookies showed up last night. Nabers was surprisingly the quietest of them all, but he played the least and didn't even get targeted by an awful Drew Lock, even though he was open multiple times. 2nd round Safety Tyler Nubin: https://x.com/JustinPenik/status/1821739989417226591 3rd round CB Dru Phillips: https://x.com/dpbrugler/status/1821699735935193116 5th round RB Tyrone Tracy: 4th round TE Theo Johnson was quiet, but didn't get many snaps. 6th round LB Darius Muasau made a few plays and looked really good. He's super limited athletically, but he's instinctual and plays fast. UDFA Jake Kubas had a good game at guard, and UDFA DT Elijah Chatman from SMU had a sack. Good showing for the rookie class so far.

Nix said in his Wednesday press conference that he “couldn’t care less” that he was listed as the No. 3 quarterback on the team’s unofficial depth chart. And that makes sense, as head coach Sean Payton had all rookies listed at the bottom of their respective positions. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/bo-nix-i-think-the-game-has-started-to-slow-down-a-little-bit

Guy is just old school weird in general
Football_Bachelor08
Aaron Donald apparently likes what he sees out of Jared Verse. Maybe that won't mean much but it certainly sounds promising
NYJets4716
Watching the first preseason game. Olu Fashanu looked pretty good. Looks very natural at LT. Hopefully we finally found our franchise LT. The Jets draft class overall looks solid. Braelon Allen looks like he will be a very good RB2 for the Jets and is a complete RB who can catch and block. Malachi Corley made some plays. Stiggers keeps impressing the team at CB. Couple UDFA stood out too. Leonard Taylor at DT had a good game. Definitely seeing him making the PS at least. I still can’t believe that we traded up and took Isaac Guerendo with Allen on the board. That’s a lie I can, but it’s still disappointing. Geezy
Bowers has gotten rave reviews all of season. He lined up in multiple spots in the first preseason game. I think hes going to be a big part of the offense day 1.
Daniel
Titans rookies had a pretty good night against the 49ers: JC Latham is still a work in progress, but he had some fantastic reps, and looked plenty quick enough to play LT. Had a great pancake block against Yetur Gross-Matos. T'Vondre Sweat has been a game wrecker at practice. He was a people mover in the game, but to a lesser degree without Simmons next to him. Jarvis Brownlee looks like he's going to walk on as a high end rotational CB. Jaylen Harrell, James Williams, and Jha'Quan Jackson didn't stand out in particular. Cedric Gray is currently injured. Tank4Drake
I’ve been saying it since May… the next Puka (5th+ Round WR who goes crazy) is Jordan Whittington. And it’s the Rams, again!!!
