Honestly, take the W.   The Raiders cleared a TON of $ off the books, that alone is worth the 3rd.    The 2nd was a best-case scenario in which Raiders cleared a ton of $ for the buyer.    This is the next-best scenario.

Of all the outcomes, this was like an A-.   A+ would have been a 2nd with Adams-based bulk benchmarks, without any salary taken on.

This is really mark davis's fault beacuse he wasn't wiling to pay any of the salary.

Thing is, I don't really think this even moves the needle much for the Jets. Their biggest issue offensively is their porous offensive line. While a dynamic playmaker, Davante isn't going to give Aaron more time to throw.

The Lions should really consider pulling a Snead and offer Telesco 2 1sts and a young depth player, similar to the Brian Burns offer that CAR foolishly rejected (I say foolishly...when you don't extend the guy, as CAR did; it's not hindsight if you let the guy walk 1.5 seasons later to reject an offer like that).

Sure, but it is what it is.  Given the circumstances, this really amounts to as close of a best-case scenario as it gets.
