Joe Posted August 17, 2021 Share Posted August 17, 2021 (edited) A paraphrase on what I've read on Twitter: Yiadom started out last season rather poorly, lost his job to Adoree Jackson, but played as a rotational player in press coverage where he excels. Outside of Jaire, our CB's apparently aren't all that great at press coverage except for maybe Kevin King. I think we essentially traded for a press corner who will probably be used specifically in those circumstances and we probably gave up a 5th for him. Not sure how good he was, but it's very possible Yiadom is or becomes the No. 4 guy for GB. He's not a nobody. Either way I like the move and I've been harping on these types of moves for years in Green Bay. Gute is taking a shot at improving the roster, not sitting on his hands.
