The NFL has announced it will play "Lift Every Voice and Sing" before every game in Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season. The song is often referred to as the Black national anthem.

Never heard of it.  Are we to stand during it or take a knee?  Seriously, what is required or right?

I've never heard of it either and dont think there is a "right thing to do" other than listen.

ESPN -  The three minority owners of the Washington Redskins are seeking to sell their shares in the team because they are "not happy being a partner" with owner Daniel Snyder, The Washington Post has reported, citing sources familiar with the deliberations.

Prominent businessmen Robert Rothman, Dwight Schar and Frederick W. Smith, who combined own about 40% of the team, have hired an investment banking firm to undergo a search for possible buyers, one of the sources told The Post.

Pro Football Talk first reported that Schar and Smith are trying to sell their stakes in the team.

PFT - “I’m getting tired of all this humble s–t,” (Cam) Newton said. “Because, when you’re humble, they start taking advantage of you. When you don’t say nothing, they start taking advantage of you. The hyenas can be doing all of this, the elephants can be doing all of this, the giraffes, the antelopes, the chimpanzees, even the gorilla. But there’s one m———–g animal in the jungle and when he roars, everything stops. And I’m about to m———–g roar.”

It’s cliche to say that getting released by the Panthers and lingering on the open market until agreeing to an incentive-laden, one-year deal has provided Newton with a chip on his shoulder, but the easy label is sometimes the most apt one to apply to the situation.

PFT - The NFLPA has proposed 80-man rosters for training camp this season. That reduction of 10 per team would mean 320 fewer summer jobs for the union's membership. That would be an unheard of ask in normal times, but normal times these are not. Per PFT, the union is also requesting "no more than 20 players in a given facility at one time during the initial acclimatization period," with that number doubling to 40 after 21 days. Both sides have a lot of work to do in COVID-19 talks.

Chicago’s best QB season since 1992 was 2018 Trubisky. They only have 3 QB ratings in the 90’s for a season since 1992!!!
2018 - Trubisky (95.4)
1995 - Kramer (93.5)
2015 - Cutler (92.3)

Kyle Orton had the worst season of any NFC North QB during that time frame with a 59.7 rating in 2005.

Tom Pelissero -   Colts QB Philip Rivers raised a big question on NFLPA call Friday: If a player tests positive for COVID-19 during Super Bowl week but is asymptomatic, would he have no choice but to sit? Answer was yes -- but if he later has two negative tests 24 hrs apart, he could be cleared.

According to protocols the NFL issued to clubs late Friday night, five days need to pass after an initial positive test -- in addition to two consecutive negative tests separated by 24 hours -- for an asymptomatic individual to return

Not gonna lie, that's gonna take me a bit to acclimate to.

Yeah, he's been around and with the same team for awhile: 16 years.
Trying to think of a comparable, I came up with Peyton - but checked him out and he was with Indy for 13 years only.
Then thought of Grandfather Time - Brady - and checking him up saw he was with NE 19 years.
Going back further, perhaps there was a QB that outlasted Brady/NE - but I cant think of him.

Culpepper was so good. Having Moss helped, for sure, but he was always a pain to play.
