Knockin' on Valhalla's Door

Borrowing from 'Blondie' from "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" (1966) (for the yutes here, he was played by Clint Eastwood):

"There are two kinds of teammates in sports; those who act as teammates united in a common cause of winning, and those who are Stefon Diggs."

Eh. On the Diva Scale, I think Diggs is a lightweight, like a 6 or maaaaaybe a 7.

Terrel Owens, he ain't.

Oh he’s up there. If Diggs ends up getting himself moved from Buffalo, he’d absolutely be in the Owens category.

The defensive line of the 1969 Minnesota Vikings - Alan Page, Jim Marshall, Carl Eller & Gary Larsen. No defense in NFL history has given up less yards in a single 14+ game season - just 2720 yards of total offense, that's less than 195 yards a game.

Jeff Darlington of ESPN reports, via DolphinsTalk.com, that there is “nothing urgent ” in regard to Dalvin Cook coming to terms with the Dolphins or any other team right now. Cook is expected to wait until closer to training camp before making an agreement on where to play during the 2023 season.

As previously reported, the Dolphins made Cook a contract offer after he was released by the Vikings. Cook has not been willing to accept that offer, but there’s been no word of offers from other clubs that would push Miami to up that offer or put them out of the running for Cook’s services.

Five longest playing careers in Minnesota Vikings history:

1) DE Jim Marshall, (270 games played)
Marshall holds the NFL record for consecutive games played with one team and most consecutive starts by a defensive player. He was also a key part of the destructive Purple People Eaters defensive unit.

2) C Mick Tingelhoff, (240 games played)
An undrafted free agent out of Nebraska in 1962, Tingelhoff earned All-Pro honors seven times and was named to six Pro Bowls in his 17 seasons in the league. Tingelhoff was an immediate starter for Minnesota upon his arrival and kept that role until he retired in 1978.

3) K Fred Cox, (210 games played)
Cox holds the Vikings' all-time record for points scored at 1,365 and has made the most field goals for the franchise (282). His NFL career spanned from 1963 to 1977 and only ever played for the purple and gold.

4) DE Carl Eller, (209 games played)
Eller still sits at the top of the all-time list of sack leaders for the Vikings with 130.5. It could be a long time before that record is broken by any member of the purple and gold. His seven All-Pro nods and six Pro Bowl appearances are well-earned.

5) LB Scott Studwell, (201 games played)
The most recent player on this list, Scott Studwell was an iron man defender for the Minnesota Vikings who played from 1977 to 1990. Over that time, he was named to the Pro Bowl twice and earned his way into the team's Ring of Honor.
