No but really.. ref blows whistle,  spike ball.

intentional grounding because clock wasn’t running.

Lets talk through this.

I'm not even sure how this is possible.  Where's the ex-ref in the commentary team when you need him?

That's kind of the point of a lot of his humor though.  He has that same condition that Tarrantino has where he finds that "so over-the-top/absurdist" stuff to be side-splitting, plus they (all three of them really: Brooks/Raimi/Tarrantino) are all suckers for that Henny Youngman/Don Rickles type of one-liner comedy.

Yeah, seems impossible for that to happen. Refs have to start the clock for the play to start I believe. Idk how it is possible to get that penalty.

When did hurdling over defenders become such a popular thing to do?  It feels like nobody used to do it, then you started seeing TEs doing it every now and then (usually failing miserably), and now everyone does it.  I remember Blount doing it a lot.

Lets talk through this.

Offsides penalty on previous play

even if penalty is declined, inside 2 minutes that penalty stops the clock.

Thus, the spike was done on a non running clock, making it intentional grounding

I think??idk

but the characters have to be grounded in reality.

the MIT characters are just so over the top and ridiculous that it doesnt work

they are popular movies, but just dont work for me

they are kitchen sink type movies like the zucker bros

that said, i do like spaceballs and blazing saddles, and the characters make it for me

I'm not the tinfoil hat type but it feels like we got intentionally sabotaged on that AND the Dee Ford strip sack recovery. And no explanation for either...

That makes sense,  but after he blows the whistle to signal the play?

Not even mad, that play just made no sense and want to understand lol
