At the end of the day, I have Fowler and Smith in a similar tier below the clearly top-end EDGE guys, I just have Smith at the top of that tier. my interest in fowler is almost entirely prompted by athletic splashy plays against run and pass. If there's a critique to be made, he's inconsistent. Smith doesn't look like a plus athlete when I watch him, and fowler does. Smith plays more than Fowler and hasn't become a marquee pass rusher, but he has enough to be a solid guy. Preston Smith's market will be exactly what it should be because he's the same guy he always is and there's a ton of information out there on him. For me, the argument against Fowler is that he played on amazing DLs. But what I watch is a really athletic NFL player who can win 1 on 1 and has good production given his limited opportunity. That is a good recipe for a FA signing.

I forgot to add before the comparison that it was percentile ranking, not total rank. I could see why that would be very confusing. My bad. He's a powerful guy, but you're not expecting much in terms of bend/burst from him. He's benefited from high stunt-usage from NE's fronts, but he's not bad. Have him below Fowler and Smith in that 2nd tier of EDGE guys. He's fine, but not great. Solid EDGE2. vegas492
I think this board may lose it's mind if GB signs another 30+ year old "Graham" to a multi-year contract.

Daniels is an easy cut if you sign Suh.
