Maybe sign Suh? Bell? I was reading something or seen it on NFL Network saying that the colts prefer to build through the draft then FA. Which could explain why they haven’t been that active

deeluxx3
What the heck is with the browns and making it a point to build around your young qb?
Mesa_Titan
What an off season so far. Great signings all around. If we have a good draft class, I'm going to be pumped for the season.

Just too many quality players at the skill positions. All any young quarterback really needs is a tight end and 74 offensive coordinators.
Mariota615TN
Real talk: With our additions thus far (not including who we might draft), how many wins better has our team gotten by signing these free agents?

All depends on the health of #8 for me. If he can defy the odds and stay healthy through the majority of the year I could see us being 10-6 or 11-5 if things go really well. But without a better backup behind Marcus one injury could cost us several games.

The season comes down to Mariota’s health. The free agents are nice, and adding a very good guard and an underneath receiver to help him get the ball out quicker should help, but none of them matter if he goes down again. Rookie cap pools typically about 5M. So if say we still have 15M+. Looking far ahead... Assuming we make no other major moves... We should have about 35-40M next offseason... Plus whatever we roll over... So 50-55M if things stay the same. But we have Mariota, Byard, Ryan, Henry, Woodyard, B Jones as FAs. Conklin is also looking at a pretty steep increase on his 5th year option. Other non starters that may take a good a good chunk of snaps include Sharpe, A Johnson, Correa. We really need to hit on a high percentage of our picks this and next year cuz we're looking at losing some contributors in 12 months.
