Mock Draft 6.0

I wanted to again do something a little different with this one so in this mock I've left Tua out altogether. This is the Tua's career is finished mock. So I did that to see how things would shake out differently. Obviously I hope Tua will be fine but from what I've read, despite the optimism of everyone involved, there is some big time risk to his injury/surgery. Either way it was just a way to shake things up, see how differently things would fall. Curious to get people's thoughts on Tua/where he should go now as well. Also, none next week cause Thanksgiving and all of that.

Well since no Tua

Give me Epenesa at 12. Herbert is hot garbage.

Round 2 then Tee Higgins and Round 3 Jonathan Taylor

1.5- CB Okudah

1.6- LB Simmons

1.9- WR Lamb

1.12- Edge Epenesa

2.4- WR Higgins

3.8- RB Taylor

Yuppppppppp all day

Interesting mock.

I wasn't planning on doubling up on OT for you but Leatherwood has versatility to play multiple OL spots which I thought would be good for you. As for doubling up on CB I see that as your second biggest need and you can never have too many CBs.

Higgins over Etienne? I guess. Questionable decision imo. And I like Herbert. Definitely not as sure a thing as Burrow but Herbert I think has a good shot at being a good QB in the pros.

8. Berlin Blitzkrieg (via Hungary): Joe Burrow, QB, LSU - I am a big Burrow fan, but Lamb and Brown would be so tempting there.
16. Berlin Blitzkrieg: D'Andre Swift, RB, Georgia - Also a big Swift fan, how early I go RB will depend on how well Guice plays the rest of the year.
12. Berlin Blitzkrieg (via Singapore): Tee Higgins, WR, Clemson - I like Higgins a lot in a very deep class.
16. Berlin Blitzkrieg: Marvin Wilson, INT, Florida State - Don't know a ton about him yet.
16. Berlin Blitzkrieg: Trey Smith, OG, Tennessee - I would love this pick.

@bcb1213

This is what the rules stat but with the reduced schedule what is the new weekly amounts for waivers?

  • Waiver Wire Order

    • Order is determined by reversing the overall standings.  Identical to the draft order.

    • Contracts are fixed 1 year deals, with the salary being based off of the week they are claimed.

      • Weeks 1-8 $450

      • Week 9 $400

      • Week 10 $350

      • Week 11 $300

      • Week 12 $250

      • Week 13 $200

      • Week 14 $150

      • Week 15-16 $100

  • Teams may select one player each week to add to their team as long as the maintain Salary Cap and Roster limits.

  • If a team has a player, or players,  go on IR during a particular week then the may select one additional player only that week to add to their roster.

  • During the BDL playoffs, remaining Playoff teams only are allowed to make additional Waiver wire selections following all normal waiver wire rules.

@ny92mike @bcb1213 This is correct.

It has been updated for this season already.

Weeks 1-13 are the regular season including the Bye because it was voted to keep waivers available during the bye. Since Thanksgiving is late this year the BYE is Week 13.

Weeks 14-16 are the playoffs and only teams in the playoffs can make claims.

This week is Week 12 Waiver Claims so should be $250.

I have Burrow higher than Brown and Lamb but even if not, the power of the QB wins out. As for Smith, I'm not quite this high on him personally but last week you said you'd take him in the 3rd if he were there so wish granted.

Deandre Hopkins was the best pick I ever made in this league by a huge margin.

And to think, there were people who thought Sammy Watkins was a better prospect than him.

And to think you didn’t take him for 6 hours OTC bc you were mad I drafted Desmond Trufant.
