It's the oh well part that sucks there. I'll give a real life example. If I was crazy I could sign Dante Fowler to a one year 14k contract. BDL week to week availability depends on NFL availability (ie. of a player is hurt and doesn't play in say week 12 IRL, he's not eligible to play in week 12 of BDL). We often run into problems in week 17 where a lot of players are rested, sometimes without injury designation but sometimes with. In addition, we often have issues getting gameplans in time for Thanksgiving, Xmas and NYE weeks. Hence why the proposal of a reduced reg season came. That's the way it's always been except we allow for 3 upped players on 1 year deals that get extended to mirror that new contract as well. It's something that I will be putting together for the 3 Up proposed changes to formalize for all non Shark/Waiver claimed signed players on 1 year deals.
