People need to remember that the paterfamilias of the family was essentially created by the Force to begin with considering Anakin's mom said there was no father. Story wise it makes a lot of sense for Sidious/Plageuis to will life into creation and thus the force creates anakin for balance and all that but it's so god damn tacky. Rey, Finn, Poe and probably more are going to be in the new trilogy depending on who survives, so I doubt it completely ignores the part of the galaxy we all know. Isn't there an enemy in the books or other stuff that comes from a different galaxy to attack? It would be pretty cool if it was like an invasion trilogy. Why would I care about a threat that died 100 years before Sidious made a whole new threat? Or a hero who defeated an enemy only to have a bigger enemy get right back to power 100 years later?
