DizzyDean Posted April 27, 2019 Share Posted April 27, 2019 I think we are good for now at TE, we have our stud receiving TE I think, bit leap forward from Njoku, and we have a big time blocker from KC that can also be a red zone threat. Glass man can do for now when he rarely sees the field. That said, next year we probably need to get a pretty good TE prospect to really develop because we are not going to be able to keep everyone. Of course that’s a far cry from saying it’s a “need”. The context of those discussions was based around the idea that guys like DeValve and Charles, both unspectacular and on the final year of their deals, could be replaced if the right opportunity arose. Perhaps it didn’t. Others said we didn't because obviously Dorsey likes Harris and Njoku was getting 85% of the P.T. among them anyway. Joe Hawkins is new, he'll learn that we are subtle when we show people that we were right and they were wrong. Heck, I went into last years draft threads and liked a bunch of posts calling the Browns awful for drafting Baker the bust.
