That’s not the issue of better technology. The company doesn’t make his helmet anymore. So they can’t renovate it and authorize a recertifications of the helmet saying it’s good to go. 

Again chaz was saying the only concussion he had from his helmet was a straight dirty bit by Burfict. That kind of hit would give anyone a concussion or head injury,  not matter the helmet

Dude can’t avoid the limelight.  In fact it’s pretty clear he craves it.   Zero chance IMO he stays retired, even if he announces he’s retiring, it will be solely for the IG hits.  As will his return announcement.   

Guy is a supreme HoF talent.   But his need for social media attention fuels him like no one else.  I imagine this is what life with TO would have been like if social media was around.

I didn't say that was the issue.  I just made the point that wearing a newer helmet (i.e. a different model) would likely mean that that helmet had better technology and would offer better protection.

It's the only concussion that we know about/ has been diagnosed.  A poorer quality helmet will also result in the damage caused by hits to the head being more severe, regardless of whether the result is a concussion.  

This isn't being enforced for the sake of it, it's literally just being done to protect the player.

There's a bunch of BS out there right now. AB's foot is the main issue, his helmet is the main issue, he's going to hold out, he's going to report in a couple days, his foot issue is a lot more serious than we think, the foot injury will hold him out only short term,  etc.

Word from the Raider writers is the team expects him back in a couple days. I'm not going to lose sleep over this unless he misses regular season time.

With HBO in town, I often wonder if this is partially... the tail wagging the dog.
Brown is plenty eccentric all on his own, but it wouldn't take much prodding from HBO to push him into next level craziness in an attempt to boost ratings

Antonio Brown has always been a diva, but for the most part, the team could control him, but as we can see on this list, it's since last year that Brown is really out of control, it's ridiculous !
