brownie man
He did draft my boy Chubb but he wouldn’t have ever had that pick if it wasn’t for Osweiler

He was fired from Kansas City for substantial reasons. To fire such a talented evaluator in KC means he has many working dynamic warts that don't often make into public discourse. Brett Veach was the driving force behind Patrick Mahomes' evaluation followed by Veach getting Andy Reid on-board then Dorsey. Dorsey was the driving force behind Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, and many other successful players in the league however. Players like Nick Chubb were Zo Highsmith's guy while Corbett was an Eliot Wolf and Dorsey guy according to Browns advanced scouts in their public comments. The issue with firing him in the first place was mostly that it was no secret how he went about roster building and his various working dynamic deficiencies, and if all along the goal was alignment in a forward-thinking analytics based front office we shouldn't have hired Dorsey in the first place. Yeah he screwed up hiring Freddie but I doubt he thought he would be a complete bust of a HC and offensive minded coach too. Freddie def over thought every aspect of being a HC/OC last year. All he needed to do was keep that same offense but he wanted to reinvent it, when there was no reason too
NateDawg
Dorsey fired Hue Jackson. For that, he will always have some special place in my heart. By the same logic, Jimmy Haslam fired Dorsey. He has a special place reserved somewhere also.

I’d rather avoid that potential locker room disaster.
