I will continue my QBs are overrated/overvalued take I started in the offseason

treat them like rbs, basically

I mean, the money quarterbacks are paid has been ridiculous for a few years now. Not the biggest secret that the position is inflated, (i.e. overvalued).

Then again, compared to the NFL owners, players generally stand to take a bigger piece of the pie home. 🙄

Amazing to see Carr Top 10 in all of these after such a terrible two years. And 2nd in DVOA. I'd say since Week 4 he's easily been a Top 6-7 QB in the NFL. And these past two games he's been #2 to Wilson. Although he did play the 29th and 32nd Pass Defenses respectively. I wanna see what he can do against the Chargers 5th Ranked Pass Defense.

Damn when was the last time Brady was rated this low.

Can't speak to all these metrics, but in terms of basic box score he actually isn't too far off from where he was last year through 9 games

2019: 2,536 yards, 14 TDs, 5 INTs, 93.1 passer rating

2018: 2,494 yards, 17 TDs, 7 INTs, 97.7 passer rating

Have to go back to 2013 though for a lower passer rating and less TDs, where he had 13 TDs and a passer rating of 82.7 through 9 games.

Derek Carr Through 8 Games:

1st in Comp % (71.2)

*1st in 3rd Down TDs (9)

*1st in 3rd Down Passer Rating (140.1)

*6th in Overall Passer Rating (105.1)

7th in Red Zone TDs (10)

*8th in YPA (7.9)

*Denotes Career Highs Through 8 Games

He’s having a better season than 2016. That season gets overrated due to all his comebacks (he broke the record for comebacks that year with 7 I believe).

Derek Carr is... back???

I’ll hold my breath and wait for a full season picture.

Kirk Cousins should be on people's MVP ballots. Not saying he should win, but he should be considered for third, right behind Wilson and Jackson. His level of play this season has been unreal.

Dude come on man. The whole Vikings org wanted him out. Could he win a playoff game first? Sheesh. Disgusting.
