On a run, possessing the ball for even a second, even one tenth of a gram of the ball crossing the GL, is a TD, even if you immediately fumble/are in the process of fumbling.

On a pass you can take a full step in the EZ, then bobble the ball, and it’s a drop (see Miami last week).

It’s an inconsistency is all I’m saying.

It's really not though. A run and a catch are too fundamentally different things. Comparing them doesn't make sense. It's just about the rules around a catch. It wouldn't be a catch on the sideline, it shouldn't be in the end zone either.

Waving the ball at the pylon or over the line 5 feet up is pathetic and has no place in the NFL

its a touchdown without touching down... so stupid

Golladay clearly scored a TD by the new lame Jesse James standard that is supposed to be the new rule.

They aren't that similar of plays.  If Golladay had done the bobble while crossing the goal line instead of landing out of bounds it would be a catch.  But he wasnt, so it isn't.

Then you add in the Agholor fumble last week and the refs are just a bunch of morons calling things on a whim.
