Art_Vandalay
Getting tired of hearing McCaffrey as a candidate for most "valuable" player. In no scenario is a RBs "value" > QBs "value." OPOTY? Sure. But a RB will never be more "valuable" than a QB in today's game.

You remember when TinyPic went down forever? That was OB. In addition being a person with the title "Head Coach" in his title, he's also a hacker... I am so impressed with his progression. In the off-season I was thinking he could slowly develop into a Steve McNair type of player. It’s almost like he read that and accepted the challenge.

animaltested
Man, how quickly does the narrative shift on a QB's supporting cast once they ascend into elite status. Should we dig up pre-season writes ups on the Seahawks offense post Doug Baldwin? Here was the narrative on Russell's weapons before they joined the team. Tyler Lockett - Undersized WR who was overdrafted in the 2nd round, and totally did not deserve his extension DK Metcalf - Walking bust because he had the 3-Cone of a double amputee. CANNOT RUN ROUTES. Chris Carson - 7th Round Draft Pick, wasn't even a starter in college. WHO? Rashad Penny - Overdrafted RB with a poor feel for the game, can't break tackles (still true to an extent). Will Dissly - Overdrafted blocking TE, lacking agility, and naturally catching ability. David Moore - 7th Round Pick from SE Oklahoma Technical School for the Deaf Jarron Brown - JAG Jacob Holister - Literally on the Practice Squad four weeks ago Luke Willson - Was sitting on the couch four weeks ago  Not even considering the offensive line has consistently been one of the WORST passblocking units since 2015. His offensive coordinators have been Darrel Bevel and Brian Shottenheimer. I cannot fathom how anyone could hold this AGAINST Russell.
FrantikRam
I think its' Wilson's to lose. And what I'm about to say has little to do with him or his performance - he's the MVP right now. Â Bengals - 0-8 Steelers - 4-4 Browns - 2-6 Cardinals - 3-5-1 Bucs - 2-6 Falcons - 1-7 Rams - 5-3 Â All of these were close and you could argue that Seattle had some "Seattle luck" in most of these games. Dalton fumble, weird overturned PI, Winston phantom fumble, Falcons fumble on 1 yard line, Rams missed FG. Again, none of this is relevant to his play thus far. But for predicting the MVP, I doubt it will be him. They are about to play the Eagles, Vikings, Niners twice, Rams and Panthers in 6 of their 7 games, with 4 of those difficult 6 coming on the road. If they go 9-7 or 10-6, can he win MVP? Guess it depends on his final numbers.
