Burks should also run with McCaffrey out of the backfield with safety help over the top. He's their weapon. You do a Bellicheck and you take him out of the game. It's really that simple. I'd like to see a lot more base defense with 3-4 personnel too. Put King and Alexander on an island for the most part and let them try and beat us over the top. I don't think they can. We are the Packers. We treat every superstar offensive player like they are not that. We have done that since 2011. Because Pettine is Capers. Shanedorf
from Ben Fennell via The Athletic "The Packers are currently second in the NFL with 1,278 yards after the catch in 2019, trailing only the Chiefs. There are many reasons to explain the uptick in YAC, but the primary culprit is the success of the screen game. Packers coach Matt LaFleur has found creative ways each week to get the ball out of QB Aaron Rodgers’ hands and into the playmaking RBs, WRs and TEs in the open field." There's been a fair amount of kvetching about GB WR and TE corps, but they are delivering YAC that's 2nd only to the track team from KC

packfanfb
Must win for the Packers IMO. Otherwise you're staring down the barrel of a 3-game losing streak in a few weeks and suddenly you're in a dogfight not only for the division with Minnesota, but a wild card spot with teams like Carolina, Seattle, LAR, Philly, and maybe Detroit. Leader
LaFleur says the Packers will be outside in the snow for practice today. "We've got to embrace that cold," he said. A lot to work on this week between McCaffrey on the Carolina offense and the league's best pass rush.
