Gave up on multiple routes. hahah ... come on man... all game he put in good work. you see 1 play and that means he didn't play hard today? You ever played a game with a serious injury to your hip or lower body for over 50 snaps? If you play football injured you can only go so much. It's one route in question and the spacing was awful the earlier one. That last pass was uncatchable. His momentum was taking him the other way. He stopped to head the other way but he couldn't get to that. In real time turning to get that with the ball traveling at velocity he's not getting close to that.. The TV copy maybe distorts the proximity to some but everyone I'm watching the game with readily saw that ball as uncatchable. Robert Smith says "doesn't even try" then opinions fly off. I don't walk away from the game saying "man landry tried all year but those 2 plays i saw mean he didn't have effort today." He put it on the line the entire game injured needing surgery. I commend him and hope he returns healthy next year. Edited December 29, 2019 by Mind Character

Nevermind. I think this will end soon.

Either you’re healthy enough to play and be open to scrutiny, or you’re not. I don’t see you fluffing Baker’s balls in regards to his busted hand and excusing passes he sails because of it. It works both ways.
Browns1987
This season feels worse than the 0-16 one. At least that year we were accumulating picks and the plan was clear. Now it feels like a big f up. We got almost nothing from the 2019 draft class, just few flashes from Wilson. Both the GM and the coach failed miserably.

Hard to say for sure cause he missed a good portion of the year and Wilks doesn't put him and Ward in man/press coverage enough when that's their biggest strength. Picks like the Takitaki one I don't think were made with the intention that he'd make a big impact this year anyway.

Takitaki, Wilson, Redwine, Forbes, etc are all guys taken for 2020 and beyond.
