Those suboptimal mechanics seep into too many throws that should not be missed at the rate that rodgers misses them. Accuracy off? There's a DB trailing horizontally and vertically. The only spot for that ball with zero chance of turnover is exactly where he put it. Sure he could've put it more in the area of play and given Lazard more of a chance to catch it, but you're also introducing a chance the DB can too. Rodgers seems like the kind of QB that will make the throw that has a higher % chance of being incomplete than one that could be completed but also has a chance for a turnover. Right or wrong is up fro debate, I agree that there are a healthy number of INTs you must throw to say you're attacking a defense at full capacity and Rodgers comes in under that. Still that's a total dime. Drag your feet Lazard. It's a low percentage play that requires an excellent throw and catch, Lazard would probably tell you he should get both feet in there. Same with the sideline one to Tae that was reversed.
Mr Anonymous
Any chance we can keep this on NFL coaching changes and not another pissing contest over Aaron Rodgers and his decline as he ages?

Ian Rapoport - In recent years, the focus on Mike McCarthy was on his relationship with Aaron Rodgers. But it’s worth noting McCarthy's massive role in helping Rodgers become what he’s become. This would be a Dak-friendly hire, among other positives.

Yah that's getting a bit old. MM is interviewing with the Cowboys today. Found that interesting. He's made the rounds. Pulling for him and hope he finds another gig.

Unless DAL is planning to actually fire Garrett - instead of letting his contract die a natural death and simply expire - they're not gonna hire anybody till after the contract ends: Jan 14.

Which is why they'll do it January 15. I've worked in HR before and when someone is let go, the job ad is put out almost immediately so that if possible the replacement starts almost immediately after the previous person has been let go. Jaire_Island
MM had excellent record against cowboys. My guess is Jerry Jones will hire him.

The discussion started was on Rodgers under McCarthy compared to LaFleur. Rodgers, while injured, played better under McCarthy. The point is relevant. You’re the only one trying to make it anything more than using Rodgers with McCarthy/LaFleur as a way to judge McCarthy and his merits as a head coach. Before you respond, read this post again. I’m calm. I’m not insulting you. I’m pointing out a fact. It’s relevant, and just because you don’t want to read it doesn’t mean others can’t discuss it. MacReady
Cowboys interviewed Marvin Lewis, which means they’re probably close to a decision. That, or it’s a foregone conclusion Garrett won’t be back with them since that’s as obvious an “Abide by the Rooney Rule” interview as you can get. You get too many check the box interviews. Not sure what the answer is or what percentage difference is in minority hiring before and after. For the most part it appears to be teams are giving these type of interviews. Now watch the Cowboys hire Lewis!
Mazrimiv
Interesting (maybe predictable) that based on the "McCarthy interviewing with Cowboys" thread in NFL News, other team's fans seem to think a good bit more of McCarthy than GB fans do. Best way for a player/coach to become hated by GBP fans? Become a player or coach for the GBPs.
