That's the compromise No signing bonus makes the cap charges very hard to manage. Thats the entire reason the Cowboys want 5 years. Makes it easier to disperse the money and manage what years you have each cap hit. Dak on the other hand wants 4 years because he is betting on himself that he can get another big payday after the next round of TV negotiations.
