bruceb
I have heard the words "win now" more and more recently. I do not think we are in a "win now" position. What do you think?

candyman93
Pat Mahommes will decide that unfortunately. Heard a good comparison: Brady = Jack Nicklaus Mahommes = Tiger Edited February 25, 2020 by candyman93

NateDawg
It really does depend on the progression at QB though. If Baker ascends to be a franchise QB like we all expected before last season, we will be in the mix eventually. The talent is there for him on offense at least, if he develops. As good as Mahomes is and as good as the Chiefs look on paper, they aren't likely to just dominate their way to every Super Bowl. Brady is the only dude that has done that in recent memory. Beyond that, you have guys like Rogers and Brees with one Super Bowl apiece. There is room at the table for other teams. whynotus.gif

MWil23
That's up to Baker Mayfield to be honest. Aside from him, the AFC North is tough/probably going to be for a while with Baltimore, and Pittsburgh still has some good years left with their future QB situation after Ben in flux, so KC with Mahomes and company will be a force to be reckoned with for the next 10+ years barring injury, even if Baker ends up progressing to a "great to elite" QB. To be blunt, I need to see them contend for the playoffs or even have a winning record before I even consider talking more than that.

mtmmike
Weakest owner in the division Weakest front office Most inexperienced head coach We split with Pittsburgh the get Ben back 0-2 We split with Cincinnati they get burrows We get thomas1-1 Baltimore best front office in the division in a rich draft 2-0 Conclusion Cleveland will be lucky to win 6 games

mtmmike
Just commenting on right know. If we get young and flowers we would be in the running for the super bowl for the next 5 years.

It'll be tough to keep both Jameson and Gaines this off-season though.
