Sterling to Chelsea for 50M. A combined 100M for both Sterling and Jesus with a season left on their contract is good value. Interesting to see how he does under Tuchel.

Wonder where that leaves Pulisic in the pecking order, seen that Juventus may be after him now as well

Sounds like Barca are getting Raphinha for about 70m and de Jong to Man U is off.

Douglas Costa to the Galaxy permanently, Tyler Adams to Leeds, Witsel to Atletico

How can Barca afford that!?

Barca's issue isn't/hasn't ever been lack of available funds, it's lack of wiggle room in the wage-cap that was imposed by their league.  With Raphinha coming over from Leeds, he'll likely be on a lower initial wage than he would have been had he signed with either Chelsea or Arsenal.  He was only on 63k GBP pw at LFC, so he'll probably pull down something in the neighborhood of 80k Euros (really modest weekly wage increase, but Barca is his "dream club") per week with add-ons and performance bonuses making up the difference.  Basically if Barca unload Depay, they've got all the wiggle room they need.  Otherwise, they're largely going to be up against it wage-wise until Busquets and Pique retire.

Man Utd continue to be a joke. Why are they simping so hard for a player that clearly doesn’t want to be there. You’re going to bring in a player that is already disgruntled before he’s even opened the double doors at Carrington are you? Jeez.

Now you can factor in Lewa. Surely people are leaving then?

Bargain tbh

27 years old and with his track record? For some reason Sterling hasn't gotten the love he deserves
