I’m actually intrigued by Zappe It's pretty difficult to rank the top group of guys and I think it will really come down to team preference. Willis, Howell, Strong, Ridder, Corral, and Pickett all have their strengths and weaknesses. But after those 6 guys there's a huge drop off. (It’s highlights so taken with a grain of salt.lol) he was short on 2 long completions but had quite a few good tight window throws. Decent mobility and pocket presence/movement. Had a few nice off platform throws. Did a decent job of keeping his eyes downfield instead of just taking off. Overall he appears to have some definite tools to work with (especially for a late rnd prospect) I think calling him a poor mans JA is ok. That’s not a bad thing at all. Depends on how much certainty there was around his pending legal issues. If there was a low degree of certainty I would offer up a 1st rounder, trade Carr elsewhere, and keep Mariota as a bridge to Watson. If there was a high degree of certainty then I’d gladly offer up Derek Carr + 2022 1st Rounder + 2023 1st Rounder. Factoring in Carr’s approximate value that’s 3 1st rounders and a 2nd rounder. Only because his off-field issues will only effect games played in the next year he plays, where as we'd have him for the next 5-7 years. The long term payoff would be worth it.
