Malfatron
Thor: Ragarnok is easily my 2nd favorite Marvel movie after Guardians of the Galaxy. Nice mix of humor, action, balance, and characters. Jeff Goldblum is simply amazing too.
Malfatron
Watched The Godfather for the first time. Man, that was a great movie. Probably my favorite movie before 1980. There's so many shocking , unexpected scenes, and the 3 hours were all fascinating. It was when movies allowed directors to take their time with movies. Today, if this was being made, it would be a taut 115 minutes, and the wedding opening scene would be like 5 minutes long

I'm not one of those Godfather worshipers like a lot of guys, but it's definitely a mancard movie. Lots of people say Godfather 2 is better, but I think the first one was the best. Go watch Godfather 2 and then you can take your man card. As long as you've seen Die Hard, Predator, Aliens, The Thing and all the other requisite mancard movies. But don't watch Godfather 3. You're going to want to, you're going to think it's just a letdown compared to the others, you're going to think it can't possibly be as bad as people say it is. You're going to tell yourself that it's just bad like Men in Black 2 was compared to Men in Black. You're going to want to watch it just out of curiosity. You're going to think it's just one bad actress in an otherwise alright movie. No. It is really, really, really bad. Really bad.
BobbyPhil1781
I watched The Great Wall last night. Good action, meh CGI, but the colors were fantastic!! Overall, don't really suggest it but if you like action flicks that don't really need substance, it's worth it. Some of the choreography was cool also. They really tried to be unique in the ways they fought (at least that I know of as they could've been ripping off something I'm not aware of) Edited March 11, 2018 by JTagg7754

And still felt the need to watch. If I could see just one person listen and be saved from such an atrocity. It makes life worth it right there. Cause it will sit there after 2 calling you like the Pied Piper playin his flute. Resist.
TENINCH
Godfather was ok for me. I don't see the appeal of Scarface or Goodfellas either. Both are boing movies. I love the mob history but for some reason can't get into these films.

Cause Ive found so many doing things right. Just finished Burt Reynolds "Gator" character series. They are done so well. Filmed in the Florida swamps, and not a dry person filmed. Everyone had sweat dripping off them and clothes soaked, no makeup. Gave them such a feel of realness over hero films cranked out today where everyone has a inch deep of makeup on, and sweat marks look sprayed out a misting bottle. Malfatron
Jackie Brown. I like this more than most people. its a very smart and interesting movie, with memorable characters. i feel like it gets downgraded in peoples minds because they compare it with other QT movies. And compared to those movies, its quieter and less bombastic
THE DUKE
Re-watched Winter Soldier with my kids this afternoon. Easily the best MCU movie, and it's not really even close. Edited March 11, 2018 by THE DUKE

First time I watched it was when I was like 13 or something and I legitimately thought it was a spoof or something. Disagree on The Godfather, but I can see why some people wouldn't like it.
MacReady
It's been a long time since a movie exceeded my expectations as much as Logan Lucky just did.
carl_sjunior
I re-watched Godfather and Godfather 2 whenever they got put on Netflix again. I am tempted to watch Casino since I haven't seen it in years but it's so long haha. Yesterday I ended up having an impromptu movie day. I watched LOVE season 3. Then I watched Alien for the first time ever. People bring up that there are these 'man-card' movies... Alien wasn't that good. It started really good and visually was amazing for the time especially but I think seeing it so late in the game, anything new and exciting about it then is just an overdone horror trope now. Ripley was a badass though. Then I watched Role Models, which I feel is a slept on movie. Very funny, classic Sean William Scott classic Paul Rudd. I noticed finally that Abed from Community is one of the King's (Ken Jeoung, also on Community) lackeys. Hilarious. Then I watched Man on the Moon, which was good but I determined that Jim Carrey is just bat**** insane. I dismissed his weirdness a lot before but it's just pretty clear that he had something happen to him somewhere along the line that just...broke him. I just was expecting a lot from both and Alien is booty.
