They literally bailed out the team they apparently want to win this game. The whistles were clearly after rhe play. It was clear as day a fumble. The run back should've been allowed as well. But for whatever reason the Patriots weren't permitted to challenge it? Come on now...

That missed delay of game and unsportsmanlike conduct against Hoyer are huge.
K9
I'm annoyed at myself for confirming a Zoom call at 8. I want to see the 2nd half!

Apparition
I often talk about the barbarism of modern Western society, but it's hard not to watch that and ruminate on the fact that in past epochs, Hoyer would have absolutely been ritualistically killed at halftime.

Come on now... I don’t 100% blame the officials, maybe 75%. But this exact same thing happened a 3-4 years ago in KC’s playoff loss. The NFL never fixed the issue. Mahomes did have a defender with his arm around his waist when the back judge blew it dead.

Hoyer doesn't beat the Dolphins or Raiders. Patriots have a bottom 3 offense with Hoyer. Would have been a threat for a 3 win season for sure. Now they'll likely have to settle for a top 2022 QB.
