Another thing that would suck about playing @Buffalo in January:

I know Cleveland isn’t a summer paradise, but this would suck.

😠😡😤

Cleveland IS a summer paradise.

Goes without saying, keep an eye on Miami vs New England. A Miami loss and Cleveland win tomorrow pretty much locks us in.

The Jets next week would be what officially gets us in.

That would be the most fitting scenario. Baker makes His debut vs the Jets in leading us to a comeback win and he locks up our first postseason trip in close to 20yrs by beating the Jets

Why? That would screw with the Bills. They have a very below avg rushing attack. They have an avg rush defense. 22nd ranking rushing attack and 19th rush defense. Pretty sure they lack a true FB or great blocking TEs. So I don’t think they could become a power run team over night.

Thomas brought up a good point about Kansas City that’s got me thinking. Does it really matter how good / bad your defense is when you face them...?

They torch the hell out of good defenses too.

The only problem is that you MUST score touchdowns every drive.

That is true, but I think my point was every offense is like playing the Chiefs offense for us so we are used to getting scored on nearly every drive.

Imo there defense is good and ours is bad. That's gives them an advantage in a game that will separated by even 1 or 2 stops or a turnover.

It was a turnover and special teams, that separated us from Baltimore.

Looks like no one lost that we needed to lose. So this is and was a must win game.

say we lose today and lose to the Steelers, we have an 80% of making the playoffs if we beat the Jets.  Just saying.

if we win today and next week, we pretty much lock up the playoff spot. I want that to happen. Could make week17 useless unless seeding is still in play. I just want Buffalo rd 1.

also depends on what the Steelers do as well

Looking at next weeks schedule, need to beat the Jets and need the Dolphins to lose to Oakland. Or need the Steelers to beat Indy and obviously for us to win.

Baltimore likely to claim a spot with the NYG and Cinci left on the docket.

Baltimore could win out and still miss out.
