Yeah, correct. They need some things to happen but I think they’ll be in pretty good shape after next week with a couple matchups taking place unfortunately. Obviously if they’re still on the outside after next week, they’re pulling hard for Pitt against us week 17, with that tiebreaker.

I think If Miami or Colts lose next week, we lock up a spot. 

I think we are screwed if the Raven, Colts, and Miami wins out and we lose to the Steelers

I like our chances assuming we don’t lay an egg next week. Colts have a tough matchup.

As a Browns fan, I’ll never be comfortable week 17 if there’s a way we can get left out.

I do not want to have to depend on any other team's performance.

That's like hoping the other guy misses a put (loses) so that you "win".

If winning out is the only path to certainty of outcome then that is what we have to do.

However this is a insanely competitive year. There’s a very realistic scenario where a 11-5 team misses the playoffs and that’s WITH the 7th seed.

Unless the Bengals somehow beat the Steelers (and we beat the Jets) then the Steelers would have to go all out to secure a home playoff game.
