As long as we win next week then the Pittsburgh vs. Indy game is kind of a win-win. Pittsburgh loses, we have a chance at the division. If Indy loses, then that's one less team we have to worry about. But like I said, that's if we win next week.

• We clinch with any of these scenarios:
  • Browns beat Jets, Colts lose to Pittsburgh Steelers
  • Browns beat Jets, Dolphins lose or tie to Las Vegas Raiders
  • Browns beat Jets, Ravens lose or tie to New York Giants

These are going to be a wild two weeks. 

 

New York jets might relax now they dont have the shane of 0 wins. 

 

Our defense sucks. Myles looks like he is at 50%

 

Pittsburg lost to Cincinnati who threw for less than 100 yards

I will be a sack of nerves unless the Raiders beat the Dolphins.

I dont wanna go into week 17 and either win the division or be out of playoffs.

This is it really.

It’s fun as a fan to go through scenarios and whatever, but the team just needs to focus on beating a bad team and not overlooking them.

If we win on Sunday, I think we’re in.  I’d be shocked if Pitt loses 4 straight.

Just win baby.

That said, I’d love for the Raiders to beat Miami so I can take a sigh of relief, then we should beat the Jets.

From there, it would be gravy if somehow the Colts beat Pittsburgh to setup a division title game Week 17.

I know this may be unpopular, but I’d almost rather be able to rest some key guys week 17 and perhaps have a favorable matchup the following week than have to bust our arses for a division title and draw a tougher opponent in the playoffs.

I don’t want the Ravens, we match up terribly with them.  And by that I mean our defense simply can’t stop Lamar.

Using ESPN's playoff machine,  I don't see a wildcard matchup with the Ravens happening either way.  If we win the division we are the 3rd seed.  Ravens are the 7th seed or out depending on the Bills-Dolpins matchup.

But I agree with the sentiment that the Ravens are a horrible matchup for us and I'd hate to lose to them 3 times.

If we beat the Jets and the Colts , Dolphins, or Titans lose, great with me. Playoffs baby!

A week 17 rest week is fine with me.
