In case you are new here or casual.

For 16 years we had to put up with people who blamed Brady's success on everything but Brady.

The same type of moron cult is going strong against Mahomes.

I mean he has Andy Reid who always wins Superbowls!

All you need to do is watch him actually play to know that he's the real deal. I mean he's the best going right now, I'm not questioning that at all. That said, he might be in the most perfect situation for QB success since at LEAST '13 Manning, but potentially the past 20 years.

On the weapons, maybe comparable to Peyton,, but the parallels stop there until Mahomes starts calling his own offense from the huddle and under-center.

Every other QB in NFL history had to play on a field that tilted uphill both ways.

They also were given the worst players in the league and if they improved they were forced to trade them away!

  • Starr
  • Griese
  • Staubach
  • Elway (late career)
  • Marino (early career)
  • Montana
  • Bradshaw
  • Aikman
  • Favre
  • Manning
  • Kelly
  • Young
  • McNabb at every position besides WR (on both sides of the ball) throw in TO later
  • Rodgers for 10+ years
  • Roethlisberger

Those guys were surrounded by talent and almost no one got butthurt about it.  (OK, those 90s Cowboys pissed some people off)

If you are going to go 1 and done 8 times in the playoffs with great players at least do it with the ability to call pass, run right, or run left at the line of scrimmage!
