On the other hand, you're one step closer to Trevor Lawrence?

Of course you have Justin Herbert already... wonder how much you can fetch for that first overall pick? ;)

I’ll hold onto both until after Herbert’s 2nd year. Then trade the other. However, Predators will not be tanking (beyond the fire sale) for Lawrence. We will fight to the bitter end.

Thoughts:

Even though the squirrels are behind now, they actually control their own destiny to win the division.

The Knights have a brutal SoS coming up. In fact, the 2nd hardest in the NSFL. If they slip, a team 2 or 3 games back could definitely win the division. That said... the 5-7 Fire and Royals also have a very difficult schedule and they have to be perfect. And Tacoma needs to go perfect and have the Knights lose all remaining games because of the H2H sweep.

REY has a much easier schedule than Rio. That division race is not over!

The Kongs have a much easier schedule than the Moose. I would be shocked if they dont rep the 4 seed.

Egypt has way too tough of opponents left to stand a chance (hardest remaining schedule).

The Rattlers have a shot, but they need to take care of business, and if they lose to RIC in week 14, its over. And of course, theres the week 16 matchup against Scranton.

Playoff Predictions

1. Rio de Janeiro Pirates

2. Norway Knights

3. Reykjavík Direwolves

4.Hanoi Viet Kongs

Salsa

1. Freiburg Venom

2. RIC Flying Squirrels

3. RC Trash Pandas

4. SCR Papermakers

Week 13 Preview!

Norway Knights @ Rio de Janeiro Pirates

Huge game.

If the Knights win, they are currently the 1 seed. If they lose, they need to go 2-1 in some tossup games to ensure the division.

Rio needs a win badly to keep REY at bay.

Hanoi Viet Kongs @ Indianapolis Predators

Kongs just need to take care of business here and the playoff picture in cheesy gets a lot more straightforward.

Chicago Fire @ Little Rock Uni Royals

Blue elimination game number 1!

The loser is gone. Both teams have a shot at winning the division if the Knights go 1-3 (very plausible).

Scranton Papermakers @ Miami Sharks

Scranton is a confusing team. Their metrics arent very good, but are winning games. Huge game for them because they could continue their fight for the 2 seed, or potentially have to fight for their lives to make the playoffs

Anchorage Moose @ Tacoma Thunder

blue elimination game number 2!

both teams really need to win here or there is not much hope

Pittsburgh Punishers @ Phoenix Rattlers

The rattlers have key playoff games in w14 and w16 against the squirrels and papermakers respectively.

but if they lose this one, its all moot

Reykjavík Direwolves @ South Africa Woolly Mammoths

REY simply needs to win to put the pressure on Rio, and to keep Kongs from putting pressure on them as well!

Antarctica Penguin Poppers @ Richmond Flying Squirrels

Richmond is in the same boat as papermakers. will they be solidifying their 2 seed hunt, or will they have to fight for their lives?

Egypt Starfalls @ Rocket City Trash Pandas

RC could eliminate the Starfalls this week and continue their march to the 3 seed.

Its going to be difficult to imagine RC missing the playoffs

Freiburg Venom @ Lancaster Fighting Amish

Venom is the 1 seed and nothing will stop it

Needed that SO badly

The good:

  • We converted MAJORLY on 3rd downs
  • Our 3rd down defense was STOUT
  • Lamar had his best passing game of the season
  • FINALLY, our designed pass plays better represented our sliders in comparison to all these losses where we ran way too much
  • The game actually was not as close as the final score
  • Rio lost
  • Kongs lost

The bad:

  • Our sacks allowed were unbeievable. Nearly as many sacks allowed in this single game as the entire season combined (7 this game vs 1.6 per game before)
  • We almost let a team back in
  • Knights won
  • Moose won
